Explanation
The PESB Board is responsible for policy and oversight of Washington’s educator preparation, certification, assignment, and professional growth systems, as set out in RCW 28A.410.210. Members are governor-appointed, and advises the Governor, Legislature, and Superintendent of Public Instruction.
