ERDC – NSC High School Outcomes Comparisons

Published:

ERDC and NSC direct enrollment rates for WA public institutions differ due to slight differences in the student population examined, timing of the ERDC data extracts, and matching methodology. Because ERDC receives data directly from multiple sources, ERDC matching processes are more robust and result in higher direct enrollment rates than NSC, especially for more recent graduating classes. NSC data improves over time, either from the addition of new records or increased accuracy of matching. NSC data aligns closely to data reported by Washington public institutions. No institutional level reporting outliers were found in the data.
