Student Participation and Postsecondary Outcomes: Specialized Courses in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics

Project Lead the Way (PLTW) is a national organization that provides “real-world, applied learning experiences” in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). Individual Washington high schools offered PLTW curricula as early as 1999. This report integrates information from K-12 education, postsecondary education and employment sectors to provide detailed enrollment, course-taking and employment information for the approximately 1,700 high school graduates in 2013 who participated in PLTW programs.
